How the Seabourn military discount works

Seabourn does not offer a military fare of its own, so the savings come from us. Since 2001, Military Cruise Deals has taken at least 5% off the cruise fare for military households. We start from the lowest price Seabourn is showing for your suite, apply Seabourn's current promotion, and then take our discount off on top. You never have to choose between a Seabourn sale and a military rate.

The discount applies to the cruise fare itself. Taxes, port fees, and airfare are not discounted. On select sailings we can also add onboard credit or other amenities, and because we belong to several large travel consortia, many Seabourn voyages carry extra perks layered on top of everything else.

Who is eligible

Eligibility is broad on purpose. If you served, or you are married to someone who did, you are covered, and so are the people you travel with.

• Active duty service members in any branch
• Military retirees and all veterans
• Military and veteran spouses, including surviving and divorced spouses
• Family and friends traveling with an eligible guest, even in separate suites

What a Seabourn fare already includes

Ships and destinations

Seabourn sails to all seven continents. Its ocean ships, including Seabourn Ovation and Seabourn Encore, cover the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, Alaska, Asia, and South America. Itineraries tend to favor smaller ports that larger ships cannot reach.

For expedition travel, Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit are purpose-built Polar Class 6 ships with an onboard expedition team of naturalists and scientists. They sail to Antarctica, the Arctic, and other remote regions, with Zodiac landings and guided outings included. Our military discount applies to these expedition voyages as well.
