All-Inclusive Luxury Cruising

Regent Seven Seas Military & Veteran Discount

Regent Seven Seas builds more into its fare than almost any line afloat, including many shore excursions. Here is how military families and veterans can take a little more off.

Quick Answer

Regent Seven Seas does not have a standing military fare on its sailings. The Regent Seven Seas military discount from Military Cruise Deals takes at least 5% off the cruise fare, applied to Regent's lowest available price and stacked on top of Regent's current promotions. Active duty, retirees, all veterans, military and veteran spouses, and their travel companions qualify.

How the Regent Seven Seas military discount works

Regent does not offer a military fare across its sailings. From time to time a select voyage may carry an offer that military guests can use, and when that happens the terms, documentation, and who can use it vary by promotion. We check what is available on your sailing before you book.

Our own military discount is consistent. We take at least 5% off the cruise fare, starting from Regent's lowest available price and keeping Regent's current promotion in place. The discount applies to the cruise fare, not taxes, port fees, or air. On select sailings we can also add onboard credit or other amenities, and our consortium memberships bring extra perks to many Regent voyages.

Who is eligible

Our discount covers the whole military community and the people who travel with them.

  • Active duty service members in any branch
  • Military retirees and all veterans
  • Military and veteran spouses, including surviving and divorced spouses
  • Family and friends traveling with an eligible guest, even in separate suites

What Regent includes in the fare

Regent's reputation rests on how much is already paid for. That matters for military families on a budget, because the price you see is much closer to the price you actually pay once you are on board.

Inclusions depend on the voyage and fare, but a Regent sailing typically covers:

  • Shore excursions in many ports
  • Specialty dining with no surcharges
  • Beverages, including wine and spirits, in onboard venues
  • Prepaid gratuities
  • Wi-Fi
  • Air and transfers on many voyages, with terms that vary by sailing

Ships and destinations

Regent operates a small fleet of all-suite ships, including Seven Seas Explorer, Seven Seas Splendor, and Seven Seas Grandeur, along with Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Voyager, and Seven Seas Navigator. Every accommodation is a suite, and most have a private balcony.

Itineraries cover Europe and the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Alaska, Asia, South America, Africa, and Australia, along with long grand voyages and world cruises. Longer sailings are where the included excursions add up fastest, so they are worth pricing carefully. We can help you compare the total value against other luxury lines.

Is Regent worth it for a military family?

Regent's starting fares are higher than many luxury lines, which can make it look out of reach at first glance. The comparison changes once you add up what you would pay separately elsewhere: excursions in every port, drinks, specialty restaurants, gratuities, and often air. For couples or families who like to explore ashore every day, Regent can come out closer to its competitors than the sticker price suggests.

If you would rather plan your own time in port or arrange your own flights, a lighter-inclusive line may be the better fit. Tell us how you like to travel and we will give you an honest comparison, with our military discount applied to each option.
