How the Explora Journeys Military Discount Works

Explora's own offers change often, and they are not tied to military service. Our savings sit on top of them. We start from the lowest fare Explora is showing for your suite, apply any promotion you are entitled to, and then take at least 5% off the cruise fare. Taxes, port fees and air are not part of the calculation.

Because the discount is ours rather than Explora's, you will not see it in the prices on the cruise line's website. Call or email us with the voyage you have in mind and we will price it with the military savings included. On select sailings we can also add onboard credit or other amenities through our travel consortia.

Who Qualifies

Eligibility is broad. Active duty service members, military retirees and all veterans qualify, along with all military and veteran spouses, including surviving and divorced spouses. Family members and friends who sail with an eligible traveler receive the same savings, even when they book their own suite.

What Sets Explora Journeys Apart

Explora Journeys is the luxury ocean brand of the MSC Group. Its ships, Explora I and Explora II, each carry roughly 900 guests, which is small enough to feel personal but large enough for a wide choice of restaurants, lounges and pools, including a Conservatory Pool with a retractable roof.
