How the Silversea military discount works

Silversea runs regular promotions, but it does not have a military fare. Military Cruise Deals fills that gap. We price your suite at Silversea's lowest available rate, keep whatever promotion Silversea is offering at the time, and then take at least 5% off the cruise fare on top.

The discount is on the cruise fare only, so taxes, port fees, and air are not reduced. On select sailings we can add onboard credit or other amenities. We are also members of several large travel consortia, which means many Silversea voyages come with additional perks layered on at no cost to you.

Who is eligible

You do not need to be currently serving. Anyone in the groups below qualifies, and so does everyone traveling with them.

• Active duty service members in any branch
• Military retirees and all veterans
• Military and veteran spouses, including surviving and divorced spouses
• Family and friends traveling with an eligible guest, even in separate suites

What Silversea includes

Silversea is an all-inclusive line, and its signature is butler service in every suite category, not just the top suites. The ships are small and spacious, so public areas rarely feel crowded.

Exact inclusions depend on the voyage and fare type, but guests can generally expect:

Silversea sometimes offers more than one fare type on the same voyage, for example a cruise-only fare and a fare that bundles air, transfers, or hotel stays. The cheapest headline price is not always the best total value, especially for families flying in from a military installation or a smaller regional airport. We compare the options side by side and show you the real cost of each after our discount.

Popular expedition seasons and the newest ships tend to fill early, so booking well ahead usually gives you the best choice of suites. Because we keep watching your rate until final payment, booking early does not mean missing out on a later price drop.
